We arrived at Marley House B&B after our 4 hour drive, and the setting was idyllic. Perfectly quaint village setting, and the house itself was beautiful. Our room was gorgeous in green and overlooked the stunning garden and had a view of a nearby church. Jan and Mark, the owners, could not have taken better care of us. The breakfast was superb - served with smiles and jokes. It was dog friendly and very relaxed. We played chess one night in the conservatory and Mark joined us for a few games. Our expectations were exceeded on every level. Great value for money and we don't usually tend to revisit places to stay as we like to experience new places, but we would definitely stay here should we be in Dorset in the future.

Room was Ok with lovely view of park. But walls furniture and fittings a bit tired. Its a budget hotel probably a bit below Premier Inn. Breakfast good simple but worked for me and wife. Restaurant adjacent very good

Asked for fan for room and was given one that didn't work. We were on second floor up narrow stairs so couldn't just walk down. There is a wardrobe in room we opened it and it was musty and black spots on walls so we never used it. All else ok But beds very hard. I was surprised it was Best Western as I thought they were better than that. The stairs above first floor are narrow and steep

Hotel staff were friendly, Room was clean albeit basic, Towel & miniature shampoo was provided on check in. Was able to get Free Wi-Fi Access which was a bonus & for a budget hotel room it wasn't bad.

Stairs inside the property were a little uneven and difficult to get up & down if you have big feet (I'm size 12 and I had to go up sideways), Toilets and Washrooms weren't cleaned at all during my 2 day stay and I cleaned it myself, Signage outside the hotel states Bed & Breakfast but this is NOT available since Covid, however you can get free tea & coffee upon speaking to the check in staff. Communal Area/Check In area is quite dark and dingey.

The staff were amazing, they really made my daughter’s first visit to London that bit more special. We received a free room upgrade to a junior suite which had amazing views of The Shard and the London Eye

I loved the dark wood and having the apartment with 2 floors. It was quirky, stylish and very homely.

My secondary lock on my door didn't work. Being located on the ground floor and not feeling comfortable to sleep with my window open.
