Lovely quiet location, easy parking secure garden. Very well equipped cottage, nicely furnished. Two bathrooms, one with a shower, which was ensuite. Everything you could ask for in a self catering cottage. We had our dog with us and it was a really pleasant change to be able to stay in a cottage of this quality when taking her with us

The apartment was stunning! So much more than we expected! From the moment we walked in, it was beautifully decorated, the rooms were warm and inviting, the beds were seriously comfortable, and it was a home from home! I would definitely stay here again when back in Southport, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone!!

Manager was lovely, beer was ok we were told it wasn't what was advertised, we were not told this earlier by a young staff member, but clearly pointed out later in the evening

The Hotel room. Was dirty , toilet shower not clean very dusty, tiles in shower grout black in places.. living room floor had a floorboard which would kick up at one end when stood on so created a very unstable floor. On looking at the cooker hobin the morning. Filthy, I was not going to write a bad review as the manager was fab . But no excuses for the hob

A few issues: the beds were too hard, the EV chargers didn't work properly and the staff at times seemed a bit incompetent (didn't know anything about the chargers, and we had to remind them about needing to charge for our breakfast!)

Room 212: Bare minimum maid service, room was never cleaned properly, you would only no someone had been in because the bin was empty. Came back after work one evening and found a bit of toilet paper and a black pubic hair on the toilet lid, definitely not mine and the toilet was dirty 🤷🏻♂️ Bath very slippery after cleaning 🤷🏻♂️ Surface mould on bathroom ceiling, easily remedied so don’t understand why it’s been left, there’s also cobwebs. There was also a dead squashed bug on the bedroom ceiling and something on the lower wall and carpet beside the bed. Perhaps there’s no one inspecting the rooms? Yes the place is in need of some repairs, painting, overhauling etc, but it was ok for what I needed which was a room near to where I was working at a reasonable rate. The room wasn’t awful, I’ve stayed in a lot worse, but silly little things let it down mainly the maid service. Happy to discuss if you want to contact me.

Rooms are very dated and basic, expensive for what you get. Bed was broken in my daughter’s room and collapsed in the night. Our rooms were in different buildings even though I’d booked months ago

The light switches were not by the door. It was ridiculously small for a family of 4. No room to swing a cat or open suitcases. And we paid ridiculous amount. I feel violated. Also very poor sign posting for hotel
