great place, every thing you need very close to hand, Costa, MacDonald's , & Sainsburys just minutes away, getting into Edinburgh so easy, the 33 bus takes you there in about 20 minutes, and there is Airlink that takes you right to the airport, will be happy to use again

The best stay ever in uk ! Amazing place and lovely couple , they are so nice . Anita is a great chef , I really recommend you to taste her meals . Naren is so helpful , we had lovely time with them

A lovely room in a charming and peaceful village. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and had good communication ahead of our stay. The breakfast was delicious.

The facilities state that there is an EV charger available, and as we chose the hotel specifically for that. We were stopping to break up a 400 mile journey and were relying on the charger to top up for the next leg. Whilst there is a public charger very close to the hotel, it is a council one that needs mobile signal to work, and it was in a position where it did not get signal. This ultimately added a couple of hours to our journey charging elsewhere.

The check-in process is really weird - you need to fill in all your details in the computer, then take a photo and still wait to go to the staff so they can check and verify that what you filled is right. Room for 4 is tiny, there is not enough space to walk or do anything. The lockers inside the rooms don't actually lock, you need to buy it for 4.5 GBP. If you need a hairdryer - get ready for a quest! We asked for one, but it actually burned in our hands, so we went back to reception to get another one, which took them quite some time to figure out where it is and they get back to us few times to ask if we return the one we took (even though we were the one looking for it). You can not regulate the temperature in the shower. It's okay for the first 10-15 sec and than boiling hot and stays that way for a while. There is a bar or pub right next door, so if you prefer to go to sleep early - be ready that there might be a lot of noice and loud music until around midnight or 1 am. I wasn't expecting a lot of that money, but still.
