The room was very clean and tidy. Nice selection of hot drinks although would have liked an option for decaf tea. Breakfast couldn't have been better. Good selection of fresh fruit and cereals and a faultless full English. We loved the location as it was very close to the centre and an easy walk to the Barbican where we went on the evening. It was great that we could leave our car parked there during the following day so we could look around York.

Although the location is excellent for access to lots of things, the downside is it's pretty close to the railway which kept us awake during the night. You can't have it both ways I guess!

The location was perfect for the Quay and lovely walks along the harbour area followed by a visit to the Jolly Sailor for refreshments.

I have stayed before so knew the hotel facilities. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The en-suite is compact but works well.

Am still waiting on my £200 deposit to be refunded back into my account. I checked out from the 7th of may, am been told it takes 5_7 working days for a full refund well I hve message the pple still I hve not get respond on my last text. Policy is a policy I understand delays can occur bt at least be in persistent community so that the other party knws that they will surly receive their refund. There was no hot water me and my daughter couldn't hve shower within the 24hrs imaging we hve to wipe ourselves like babies, the place was kot clean enough my daughter contacted some strange spot after we left the place and she was motiify she has to seek medical assistance which later con firm that she came in contact with someone with such spot which can be tranfer through hugging someone with same infestion or sharing bed with someone with same infestion she has a sensitive skkn so am.nt surprise. Honestly, all I want is my refund. I hate to give negative reviews bt with such experience I hope the pple managing this property can be more diligent in their house keeping as not every body skin sensitivity is same plus u can't afford nt to have hot water no heater in place and there should be no excuses bcoz cleaness and property running water both cold and hot shouldn't be miss out in any rented property. I knw they hve apologise etc bt it isn't good enough ur business reputation matters and keeping ur clients at a safe environment matters alot as well.. Am talking from a business point of view. Pls let no one be put off by my review just thought to be honest it might be useful for the pple in charge to take note and avoid such thing next time

Location is very convenient, right next to the train station. Some of the staff are very helpful.

Chaotic system. Stayed 2 night, but went to the reception multiple times because someone in the room kept switching the beds.
