The lodge had everything needed and more for a weekend away with friends. It was exceptionally clean and well furnished and comfortable. Location was good for walking into Kenmore and driving into Aberfeldy. Was lovely weather and were sitting out in the garden and cushions provided for outside seating area . Plenty of options as upstairs balcony , outside table and chairs at front and also seating and table and chairs in back garden .

Lovely quiet location in mid Wales village. Beautiful old public house, modernised with excellent rooms and facilities. Attentive, efficient staff serving excellent array of good ales, beers. The food was exceptional and excellent value. Thoroughly enjoyed my one night, should have planned more nights! A hidden gem really. Would be great for cycling and walking. Will definitely return.

The owners were lovely and very welcoming to their beautiful guest house. The room was amazing and everything was spotless. I chose not to have breakfast as I had a long journey to go on, but was given a delicious packed lunch in its place. I can definitely recommend this bed and breakfast.

We did not stay at the property as it did not meet our expectations. It was a challenge to liaise with Booking.com and the owner to receive a refund, this has taken nearly a week to resolve.

The property would benefit from fixing the damp and mould on the walls/ceilings, and looking more presentable. It is dated and did not have a comfortable feel to it at all. There was graffiti outside of the property, and cigarette ends at the front. The property was not situated in the best of locations and felt quite intimidating for tourists. I was surprised given the positive reviews and photos advertised.

Slightly outdated decor, probably from the 70s. Tiles on the balcony cracked and/or released, Mould on bathroom silicones. The carpet was old and dirty looking (grey/brown) throughout the residence. Uninterested receptionist without smile or empathy.

I felt quite mislead by the property description vs what the property was actually like - in the Q&A the property said they provide a Parking Pass but when we asked the host we were told this isn’t true, so we spent a fair bit of money paying for parking during the week when that was a massive reason why I booked it. There are 2 flights of stairs to the property which aren’t ideal for anyone with mobility issues and my mum struggled with. The flat isn’t very well stocked - being your own toilet roll (1 small roll wasn’t enough for a family of 4 for a week); other than some washing up liquid there were no cleaning products, salt and pepper etc. It wasn’t the cleanest - the tea towel and fridge were both dirty, (don’t look under the bed!!), the front entrance was really gross with loads of pigeon poop but the alley was cleaned halfway through our stay. The description doesn’t make it too clear on excess fees which I will be careful in future to not let catch me out! You can either pay £25 non-refundable fee as a deposit or you can pay over £100 that is returned in 14 working days minus a £10 admin charge. All in all I felt pretty mislead by the property and it explains why it was cheaper than some stays.
