The hotel is set in very nice surrounding with trees and lots of foliage. The beds were comfortable and large. There was a mix-up with our booking so instead of a family room we had two double rooms. A pleasant upgrade for our teenagers. The food was very good especially on the second evening when they provided fed our extended family of 19 people. The bar was cozy.

Unfortunately the last orders for food is at 19:30 and being used to eating much later at home in Brussels we were a little frustrated. However the timing suited the extended Irish family.

Wow what an absolutely amazing hidden gem. Sue was the perfect hostess and made us so very welcome. George is the friendliest Rotti I've ever met it was so nice we asked to stay another night, will definitely be back 5 Stars from us

I loved the fact we had our own wee kitchen that had everything we needed, a microwave, toaster, kettle, cultery & plates, mugs etc for two people. It felt very homely, cosy & warm. The TV was very big and great picture on it.

The table was in the bedroom & we thought the table was a bit small. It was crowded when we were both eating dinner there. However as the room was not that big, I don't think they could fit a much bigger table in the room.

Great comms prior to arrival, a very warm welcome from Alison, super fast check in, great room, super clean, really really great breakfast! Car parking on street right outside. Would book and stay again for sure.

Cottages well laid out. Very roomy 2 bed both ensuite. Quiet and peaceful. Access to grounds and lake for leisurely walk. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Resolved issue with TV promptly.

Check out was 10am. Both sofas grubby and showing signs of significant wear. Cooker controls.

The room was great. Massive family room with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The staff were friendly and it was nice and close to the sea front.

The outside pool was closed, which we were unaware of when booking. This was part of the reason why we booked this hotel, so we felt slightly cheated. That said, the indoor pool is great.

Bin men arriving at 5.30 so did wake us up and as there were staffolding around the building workers started around 8 again noisy , but hopefully won’t be too long before removing

Room very hot. Thought staff could have been more friendly although gentleman who served breakfast was very nice. No cheeseboard available on Saturday night. No mushroom served with steak and chips undercooked.
