Location was a 10 minute walk away from a medical Centre where a relative was in palliative care. I needed flexibility in visiting this person and, at the same time, avoiding taxi and/or public transport use.

College Court Hotel is advertised as a hotel. In fact, it turned out to be a conference Centre which provides bed and breakfast and, as such, is, perhaps, misleadingly called a hotel. As a person who requires gluten-free food and who was visiting a seriously ill relative I had hoped for a more flexible service around meals.

We had a great weekend the guest house was amazing can't say enough. It was immaculate and well presented. We will definitely be back. Hope to bring our family with us next time. The views were stunning.

Location and breakfast are good. In general, staff are friendly at reception and tea room. Provide essential amenities.

The single room was very small and the mattress was sunk in with the side mattress much higher. On arrival day, no hair dryer and complimentary water bottle were placed. When I called for hair dryer, the person on the line asked in an unfriendly tone ‘Where did you check? The hair dryer is in the room.’ I felt very intimidated, as the person didn’t believe me and thought I didn’t check thoroughly. Then I asked ‘If it’s in the room, where can I find it?’ Turned out, the hair dryer wasn’t placed in the room at all. No apologies after but it made me felt like an ‘interrogation’ conversation.

No working lift.. Neither fan or heater in cupbpard was working. Bathroom was dark and no light over the mirror. Cold water In basin was not cold enough to drink, and the cold water in shower did not appear to work.Towels not tidied daily, basin and shelf not well cleaned. Service at the bar on Friday evening was bad - I had to.bang on the bar and clink glasses before anyone appeared, then no apologies.
