I stayed here with my 7 year old son for our first trip away together just us and picked this B&B because of the reviews. It's a brilliant location. Very close to the train station. Located in the middle of everything we wanted to do. Not too far from the funfair or Sandworld and the Sealife centre. All within walking distance. I loved it was so quite away from the bustle of business and noise. Could walk straight out onto the quiet part of the beach. Our room was very spacious and clean. Serviced every day. The bed was extremely comfortable, decent melt into pillows! A must have after a long day's sight seeing! Breakfast was amazing, the best scrambled eggs I've ever had! My son loved his bacon sandwich every morning that he said was the biggest bacon sandwich he's ever seen! Dean was very welcoming and accommodating. All the staff were very friendly. We felt very comfortable and relaxed. It was the perfect accommodation for our mini break.

I had read the reviews so was not expecting anything fantastic. The room was tired but spacious, clean and ensuite. Bed was comfortable and water was hot. It is right in the middle of old Rochester but pretty cheap. The music is loud from the bar below but knew that would be the case. Overall good for a cheap and basic hotel in the middle of town.

The bathroom was a little small. The toilet was a tight squeeze being wedged between the shower & wall. Also the shower was a very tight squeeze to get in through the shower doors

The parking wasn’t great, there’s not much room out of the front of the property. Although you can park your car at the opposite sister hotel, I wouldnt be keen to do that. The rooms look great and smelt lush, but on closer inspection there were stains on the carpet in several areas, there were cobwebs in the corners of the room. Some of the lights either didn’t work or flickered when on. The light in the bathroom was loose and didn’t work. There was a stain on the bedroom wall. The iron didn’t work, but they got this sorted within 10 minutes. There was a stain on the duvet sheet. The heating & towel rail didn’t work, although reception explained that it was switched off because it was summer (I was cold and the towels didn’t dry!) The cooked English Breakfast was a bit small, delicious but child like portions and I am not a massive eater! I think the cost of the stay was over priced for what it was. I did speak to reception when I checked out about my stay and said that they would pass on my comments to management who would get in touch but so far, I haven’t heard anything.
