Room was smaller than I expected. Although air conditioning is provided it’s noisy and we prefer to have a window you can open. Location is excellent. We weren’t keen that it’s right next to the railway station and thought our sleep would be disturbed but we were wrong we slept fine the trains don’t disturb you at all. It’s a busy hotel and others patrons were quiet and well behaved considering 2 stag parties were booked in. They never made a noise. Unlike some other hotels we have stayed at in Newcastle. Highly recommend.

The size of the bathroom. No window to open for fresh air. Room had an odour when we arrived I think that is due to the lack of fresh air it wasn’t a bad smell it was more like stale air.

The place is so beautiful. We stayed between shelly and caravan with hot tab, It was more than I expected experience. There are everything in there, you just take food and drink :) Also you can use inside hotel restaurants and bar, They are super amazing food and kind staffs. When we stayed there, our daughter is only one child but they really welcomed us, let us stayed restaurant any time. Highly recommend to book table before you visit. I never feel like such a relaxing before in my life. Best ever visit place.

I really haven’t any bad point in this place,let me explain for more being better for the future. -There is kids play area, you may need keep on eye your kids due to risk of fall small cliff and river by picnic area next to play area. Play area kids can escape easily because no door.( there has fence xxx) Hope there has fences on around picnic area / near by kids area for kids safety :) -Wish hair dryer in the caravan! Thank you :)

Amazing, quirky hotel with the most amazing views. So quiet and peaceful, really perfect for getting away from it all. Rooms are comfy, decor is cool, staff are friendly and food is great.

Perfect for a small family, we travelled with our children aged 5, 2 and 3 weeks and it had everything that we could possibly need! Perfect location too!

What a terrible experience I had. A lot of strange people walking around the hostel everyday, you don’t feel safe anytime. The hostel is also full of young students travelling in huge groups making a lot of noise and mess. The staff aren’t welcoming, it seems like they’re doing a favour to you. The lockers aren’t easy to manage. The bathroom hasn’t enough hot water in the shower.

Staffing was clearly a challenge. Breakfast and dinner didn’t happen and staff seemed surprised to be asked…it was like Fawlty Towers just not as funny.
