I was on a LEJOG cycling trip and hotel was right on the NCR, The owner was very friendly and helpful and my bike was stored safely and securely overnight. The room was small but ideal for my requirements and being so close to town centre I was able to get a meal easily at night. Breakfast was excellent and great value. . th

Accommodation was adequate although it had a hostel like feel to it. It was very clean and comfortable and the host was pleasant to speak to, also providing a good breakfast made to order. There ware parking out front but it was a nice stroll into town. The sorrounding area was quiet.

Lovely property we had a balcony room with fabulous views. The staff were very friendly bit of a hill to the hotel which makes me realise I need to get a bit fitter Breakfast was also good with plenty of choice, I would certainly return

I liked the individuality of the place. The gentleman was friendly. I had hoped to have a drink in the pub, but was a little tired. The room was spacious, and the kettle was a welcome inclusion. It was a loft room.

It’s been a while, but there was something with the window, that needs double checking, it was likely that there was no blind. A kind of velux window. I think it could have been a tad cheaper for what it was. The city seems a little jaded, and to be suffering from the cost of living crisis, and I think the prices could perhaps reflect that a little if possible.

Breakfast was great with lots of choice The location couldn’t have been better we were so close to everything, theatre, art galleries and shopping.

I stayed for the 2nd time unfortunately got no sleep due to some inconsiderate person leaving the TV on all night. No amount of knocking on the wall made any difference. I left the first thing in the morning feeling shattered. I luckily booked online, and after speaking to the manager, I was reimbursed. The decision to put the beds next to the TV wall in the next room was not thought out well.

There could be more facilities for washing clothes. There could be more hooks at the wall. For hikers as us would be helpfully to have a small number of food at the bar.

Unfortunately the previous guests had smoked in the apartment and this was not picked up by the cleaners leading us buying as diffuser to try and alleviate the smell.
