We really enjoyed the stay at the Wee Room. Our host Laura communicated so nicely with us. Had great recommendations for food, wine, and entertainment. Was so friendly and kind about answering all my questions. The room was excellent, comfortable and quite large (don't let the "Wee" part fool you). I loved having the extra space with a couch and the kitchen supplies and were great. We enjoyed wine from the little wine shop around the corner, it was so nice to be able to relax in the living room and enjoy the wine. The location could not have been any better, it was literally 5 minutes from the golf course, from the beach, from the town center and restaurants, from the bus station. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Lovely spacious room with good amenities. Appreciated the desk fan which was already in the room. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was very good. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Very good hotel and met all expectations. Incredibly close to Edinburgh airport and appreciated the fact there is a live departures board in reception - really useful.

My only complaint was that the hotel was cashless. I like to use cash to pay for drinks in the bar or for parking and this wasn’t an option.

The room was lovely, and the bed was comfortable . The grounds , buildings,and location very nice ,overlooking the lake.

The restaurant/ bar was a little tired and the staff appeared very young and inexperienced . At one point, I ordered a coffee, and it arrived without a spoon. Apparently, they had difficulty locating one ? By the time one arrived, the coffee was cold. Room for improvement, I'd say.

We booked this hotel on the day for £111.60 for the night via booking. Upon arrival the hotel was incredibly run down including the driveway entrance. Nothing like the photos (which clearly look great). The reception had decorators present who were shouting and creating a sort of building site vibe. The lobby is extremely tired, dated and in desperate need of a refurb. We were given our keys and pointed to our room. The keys did not work so we returned to be given another set. The door to the room had two half drunk pint glasses right outside the room. The room smelt of smoke and felt unclean. We decided to leave after 5 mins of being in the room so returned to reception to explain. The receptionist explained the refund would be given via booking as that is where payment is made. I have attempted to get a refund but booking have contacted the hotel several times and they are unwilling to provide a refund. Quite frustrating and poor that the receptionist told us we would receive our money back.
