The place exceeded our expectations! Hosts are very nice people who've made the whole place feel like home away from home. Every day there were freshly baked cookies/cakes downstairs which tasted so good! (for free!!). The view from our room was breath taking and even more amazing on our last 2 nights as the host was so kind to upgrade us to a room upstairs :)) Rooms are very clean and comfortable. The location is ~15-20 min walk from the town centre and close by are shops/restaurants. Beautiful promenade/walking path next to the sea. We truly enjoyed our stay in Eastbourne and suggest everyone to stay at Seaview Sanctuary!

Rooms can get hot, so I suggest having a pair of earplugs with you in case you like to keep the balcony door/window open during the night for fresh air, as noise from vehicle can disrupt sleeping otherwise :)

Lovely building and a friendly staff who always smiled and were happy to help. We were upgraded too which was a lovely surprise. Lovely room. Very comfortable bed. Good location in the city. We had a great breakfast with good coffee and lots of fresh items you don't get in other chains of hotels.

A beautifully decorated large room with a wonderful view of the garden and access to it. Very nice owner and lots of space for clothes and to prepare any tea/coffee and breakfast plus a really wonderful garden - with a door to access it

I felt the entrance hall was a little dark and creepy on arrival. It may be fine but when arriving somewhere new alone you can be extra sensitive to these things and, because the door is thin, I wasn’t sure how safe I was, as a single female traveller. I also felt hot and couldn’t open the windows. But I really do think it is beautifully decorated and I’d have been very happy if I’d been with my partner.

Absolutely spotless. Easy to park and close to transport links into the city. Garden is lovely, kitchen is well equipped, great wi-fi, coffee machine in the room.

For a four star rated apartment it was well short of the mark. Stains on the floor, kitchen bench and bedroom headboard. Bedroom door was warped and very hard to close. Internal power boards coming off the wall. Lack of internal front door safety lock. Fridge making high pitched noise all night. Bed smaller than advertised and linen was starchy and rough. Front door lock box had been attempted to be opened overnight. The number given to call to organise bag storage upon checkout was not answered on 3 different attempts across a 2hr window.
