  This is a great country pub. Super welcome, the manager was lovely. Good room with comfortable bed. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed a lovely meal with excellent service. Would definitely recommend.

  Lovely room, lovely and clean, good breakfast except the coffee which was not nice. Quiet location, we had a room at the back

  Apart from one young man on Sunday at breakfast we didn’t see a soul the whole time of our stay, a member of staff to meet and greet and some form of reception with travellers tips, maps of bath, best places to eat would have been a welcome addition. *am for breakfast is too late, access to the dining room to at least have a quick continental breakfast before we had to set off just before 8 would have been a great bonus.

  Was given a room directly above the kitchen and was disturbed by their door slamming every few minutes until after 21.30. When I complained was told could be moved - but there would be a charge for it ! No ! No ! Breakfast very bland and took over 20 minutes to arrive despite it being very quiet
