We were down to visit family for a couple of days. Bayside is located just yards from Preston Sands. Our two rooms have balconies that allowed us to sit and enjoy the sea view with a glass of red, despite the less than favourable weather in early April. Bayside May look a little tired in places but it was very comfortable, clean and has off-road parking. Liam is an excellent, helpful and very friendly host. Being a native, he is great for local info and advice. He also cooks a great breakfast! Overall, an excellent base from which to enjoy the English Riviera.

Very welcoming. Staff pleasant and worked as a team covering various roles. Breakfast - good value. Cooked ,cereals,fruit,prunes,mini pastries,juice and hot drinks. Large room - superior. Iron although not needed this visit. Hairdryer and towels. A hand towel would of been helpful. Would stay again. Price and location good. Canal ride a definite bonus. Yes needs some modernisation however bed comfy, clean, bar good, food and free parking.

Small issue in bathroom however Carol sorted this very quickly. Shower wasn't over powerful and this could be due to pressure or shower clogged with limescale in some of the holes ( just a guess) i did manage a shower though. Pop up laundry bag to place used towels in would be a nice touch. Instead of placing on floor. Usb sockets by bed for mobiles to charge overnight. Most would use these for alarm. A bit noisy at times. When people came down hall late and maybe some doors could do with some wd40/ oil (squeak). Dogs barking at times not ideal (night).

We stayed at The Fox and Hounds when attending a wedding nearby, and couldn't fault it. The room had everything we needed and more, and the staff couldn't do enough for us. They even helped us plan our route to the wedding venue and back! So friendly and such a nice stay - and the Sunday roast is great! Would recommend to anyone.

Clean and comfortable, perfect size for 2 couples . Great location, 5 min walk to the ABBA stadium or Puddle Mill Lane station to catch the DLR to Stratford or into London. Sofas and beds were super comfy, kitchen was well equipped. Heating was easy to use. Properly felt safe and secure and was nice and quiet.

If I’m going to be super picky, the shower was a bit weak and the TV didn’t have great reception. But neither of these things would stop me booking again.

There was a bottle of wine left in my room with no information whether I had to pay for it or it was given free as a good gesture. I had it and at the end was charged a whole £70. 00 stating that I used the mini bar. This is kind of fraudulent behaviour for them not to give enough information.will never go back
