Lovely old property with lots of character, great location very near to the town. Host communicated clear instructions ahead of our stay and then left chocolates and bottles of fizz for our arrival. Parking easily accessible just down the road in large and reasonably priced 24 hour public car park.

The bed was extremely soft and uncomfortable. Toilet in the bathroom had a broken seat which I notice was also mentioned in a review several months back - a separate toilet was on the ground floor. Noise from the the pub directly opposite went on until around midnight which didn't bother us but some travellers might want to bear this in mind.

The staff here are extremely courteous and helpful. Facilities are good. Located in a most convenient location very close to tram station and bus stops. There is a direct connection from Airport to the hotel by Tram

The property promises air con which was a lie in the heat we were told air conditioning has not existed in the property despite us visiting previously and using it. The staff were extremely dismissive and rude despite us being repeated guests and being very polite. I could go on about different issues but I won’t. We ended up leaving and being refunded the rest of our stay. I would avoid this place at all costs now. We are not complainers but this stay ruined our only holiday this year with how we were treated.

I stayed in a Leornado that offered mackerel which was quite nice as a breakfast change. Wasn't clear if gluten free options were available.
