When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Owner Lee made me very welcome. Near to sea front and Sandown High Street. Great breakfasts. House full of interesting and quirky conversation pieces including cherry shaped loo brush (to fit the name Cherry Lee) . I came without a car. Sandown Train station near. Several buses stop right outside. that go right around the island, though land slips have caused rerouting to get to Ventnor. I really recommend the nearby National Poo Museum - 5 mins walk away . (It is not a joke. A disused public toilet repurposed. Full of interesting information about our gut biome, British sewage system, toilets through the ages and attributes of animal dung.) Also visited the Botanic Gardens at Ventnor and Roman Villa with well preserved mosaic floors. at Brading.

we were supposedly booked into another hotel and at the last minute we were told there was no booking. thankfully there was a room available at the Dreadnought hotel for us. it worked out better for us and have no negatives to report and certainly value for money and a brilliant base to any of the activities available to the area. will stay again no problem at all.

Nothing really. Suggestion; enclose a pretty beer garden to the side/rear with shrubs. And outdoor lights for summer evenings. Then perfect

Beautiful location, quiet and relaxing surroundings, lovely decor and thorough comfort. Felt like home away from home

We paid top dollar for this property. The house had potential but lacked finishing details. Felt as if it had been furnished but not tried out. Radiator in one bedroom didn't work. There was dirty bedding in one of the wardrobes. Broadband was patchy and didn't work in the upstairs lounge. There were no maps, leaflets, etc which would have been useful. The directions provided took us to another property. Luckily the owner of that property was there and able to re-direct us.

Location was grea for a short stay near station.

Bed - mattress was pretty average. Felt spring and could be replaced. Was no longer supporting weight of body. Slept on top of bedding to be comfortable. Room so small couldn’t open large suitcase except on bed.

More plugs higher in stead of near the floor
