Very affordable. Large bedrooms. Very accessible for our group of disabled folk. Good breakfast options. Clear efforts to reduce packaging at breakfast. Good timings for breakfast with later choices at the weekend - also food didn't seem to run out despite us arriving quite late. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Facilities were so so good for the price. Honestly we were all so impressed. And it was nice we could all share a room.

The only tiny thing was during a phonecall someone said my friends service dog would need a certificate to be allowed in the food areas which is not compliant with the law however when I corrected them they went and checked and confirmed no certificate was needed. And when my friend and her service dog were here there were no issues at all so its such a minor point

Very attractive building in a very convenient location. Friendly, attentive staff. Good choices for breakfast although I would have liked to have granola and berries and plain yogurt which is what I eat every morning.

I appreciate that I didn't pay very much for the room but it was VERY small, especially the en-suite. I don't know if the hotel is aware that both taps read 'Cold' although the left hand one is, in fact, a hot tap - curious! I didn't sleep very well. I think the mattress needs turning. As I have mentioned above, I would have liked a choice of granola, berries and plain Greek yogurt for breakfast. Cooked breakfasts are not my thing, I'm afraid although the scrambled eggs and mushrooms were lovely and very nicely cooked.

lighting was dim in the kitchen and had basic essentials for cooking. Collecting the keys after a long flight was quite a process. One shower was broken but they were happy to get fixed

on the day the hotel make you pay a £2.97 'waiver' fee, or £100 deposit. the room facilities were not as listed. a 'deluxe family room' only had a small shower. *as a solo traveller I booked this room specifically because it listed having a bath. I could have booked a cheaper room, or elsewhere, if I'd known that this room does not have the listed advertised facilities. the kitchen sink water wasn't connected, no drain pipe, they just put a towel under the down pipe. very very basic room, beds crammed in. no surface space or storage. The staff lied to me 'confirming' the room had a bath, when it only had a shower [I messaged the property prior to arrival asking specifically for them to confirm the room facilities - as listed on booking.com] no dining table. no seating area. no hairdryer. no carpet. entrance was via the main hall/not private. [I was in '004' 'deluxe family room'] it seemed totally different to the listing. the room in the photograph on the booking is different. I messaged the staff. there is no reception desk, they make you use whatsapp to communicate. The man initially said he was trying to find me a different room, promised to sort the situation out, then repeatedly asked for 'evidence' - I sent pictures clearly showing the problem. no solution or explanation was offered. I had to chase for updates. eventually he just ignored my messages. I emailed the hotel when I got home, over a week ago, and have yet to receive any reply or even acknowledgement that this was poor communication and terrible customer service.
