The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Such a lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. Very clean and tidy and the little touches like milk, Welsh cakes and butter were very much appreciated. The cottage has everything you will need for a great stay in the lovely village.

We visited with our dog and we were greeted with some dog items in the room such as bowls, treats, blankets and towels. Very friendly staff and we're happy to help.

We didn’t have a great bar meal one evening.

Nice flat in a good location. The owner was very helpful when I needed to ring him a couple of times. Would stay again if the bed was fixed.

The bed in one of the rooms was missing half the slats! I didn't sleep because of this as you were in a 'ditch' with no support. I have a bad back at the best of times, so this didn't help. Getting into the apartment was a tad confusing. The instructions were fairly comprehensive, but they missed that there is a thumb print lock on the front door, so I needed to ring the owner to gain entry. Lastly, sadly, the car parking spot that came with the flat we couldn't use as someone else from a neighbouring property was using it. I rang the owner, and he apologised, and he said he would try to find out who it belonged to and see if he could get it moved. I never heard anymore. Luckily, a friendly groundsmen of the block of flats allowed us to park in another space, which was great, as finding parking in central Oxford that doesn't cost an arm and a leg is no easy feat. I took my mum here for her birthday. Due to these few issues within 24 hours, it did put a bit of a damper on what I had hoped would be a restful, relaxed stay. If the bed was replaced, I would stay there again. In its current state, it is only a 1 bed flat.

Exceptionally clean, very nicely decorated with all the amenities I needed and parking was easy to find near by. Would definitely recommend.

Location was excellent for the town centre. The flat was lovely and spacious and first impressions were very positive.

Could only find one front door key (there were lots of keys for the bedrooms and balcony doors). The kitchen tap was loose, there was no oven glove and the oven needed a good clean. The tap was wobbly in the smaller of the bedrooms and the plug kept sticking in the sink. The bath was out of order and couldn't get the jets to work in the shower. In general, although the flat was lovely, it could do with a bit of maintenance/redecorating. The floor in the bathrooms was lifting presumably after previous water damage.

Location great, bed comfortable.

The fact that bar staff in the roof top terrace were unwilling to explain the drinks options when we asked for a physical menu and not a QR code. We left to spend our money elsewhere that evening. All they needed to do was to explain what wine they had!
