  We stayed at this hotel as a quick break not expecting too much & was pleasantly surprised. The staff at reception greeted us with a smile & was very helpful, I was on 4th floor my room was nice & clean with everything I needed, hot drinks, hairdryer, iron etc. We had a walk round the hotel & loved how quirky it was with all the history & pictures. Entertainment was good a lady called Wendy was singing all the old songs we love, so had to get up dancing! Will be coming back again. Thankyou

  the mount is run by very nice, friendly and welcoming hosts. breakfast together with the other guest in a nice breakfast room or in the garden. also a nice garden. location is great for walks in the surrounding ( e.g. catbell) and also keswick is in walking distance. a great place

  It tooj me forever to adjust aircon so it wasnt blowing right on my head. The coffee espresso leaked water everywhere. The safe at was ground level, necessitating one to be on hands and knees to set and open.No thanks.
