The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Lovely staff. Nice breakfast. Pretty location. Very comfy bed! Plenty of parking. Lovely grounds. We booked a stay at a fantastic rate on booking.com so value for money was good for us, but I am glad we didn't pay full price.

£50 'pet cleaning fee'. This is not mentioned anywhere so watch for that on your booking. Dogs can't go in the breakfast room (which is a beautiful space!) so you have to sit in the lounge area or outside, which we were blessed with good weather so we could. Also, bring your own bowls/beds/towels etc. The website says they are provided but we didn't experience that. There is however the lovely idea of a pet spa on-site - I wish we'd realised that! We stayed in room 18. It was nice enough but the damp smell was a bit much and it was way too warm in there and there was no aircon. The free-standing fans provided were fine until you wanted to sleep. They honestly just need to install some kind of aircon / dehumidifier which will probably help with the damp and the heat in one go! We got a great deal on booking.com so complaints are few. But I would have been a bit less impressed if we had paid their full nightly rate. Found the mannequins with wedding dresses on in the reception and the lounge a bit creepy and it kind of sucked away any luxury vibe TBH and turned it into feeling more like a wedding venue than a nice hotel.

Lovely pub area downstairs with restaurant - food was delicious so it's a must for dinner. Staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. Surrounded by a cute little village with quaint shops

The location was great, right in the centre of Bath. We also liked the car parking facility and found the car turntable a real novelty but a fantastic asset to the property!

There was nothing that we didn't like about the property or location. Having visited Bath several times, usually staying in a hotel, we would definitely stay and recommend this airbnb to others.
