Not much, management not professional and ignorant! I checked in on the 19/06/24 at 3pm and was robbed of ALL my personal belongings while I was in the bathroom for max 3 min. My leather suitcase ( long champ) passport ID card driving licence clothes toiletries and RYA boat licence and 2 Indonesian driving licences incl €280.- in cash. Also my 3 bank cards! It’s all on Camera, I went to the Elephant & Castle Police station and reported this crime. I was only left with the cloth I was wearing and nothing else no money nothing. I have also been to the Dutch Ambassy in Kensington London and made van appointment to renew all paperwork. I told the Manager from Safestay that they were responsible for what happened but this guy the manager told they do not accept responsibility???

The property was in a great location - Warkworth itself is beautiful with a lovely cafe/restaurant across from the apartment and a short walk to the village shop and a few pubs. The property was clean and spacious. It was easy to access and parking was just around the corner. The bed and sofas were comfortable. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Although communication with the owner was good… 4 hours before arrival we were told we were no longer able to park at the property. Even though 2 days before we’d been sent all the information of where to park etc. Would recommend looking for areas to park as we were also told there was 24 hour parking near by. There was not. we had to be up early after a late night to get back to the car park. before the time was up. Defeating the purpose of paying for a room really. Other wise i can’t really fault the location or the room… with the one exception of a delightful surprise waiting for us in the toilet … maybe better checks from the cleaner are required.

Tv does not work (think it’s a WiFi issue) WiFi is also very poor It’s far too hot (temperature was 22 c outside, so really no reason for it to be so hot in the property) No tea towels Only 1 small towel per person. Check in time was inflexible Why is check out time so early given no one came to clean the property that time?!

Noise neighbours one of night , played loud music 2am in the morning, probably they were drunk . However it can happened anywhere.
