The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

We thoroughly enjoyed bringing our dog to Lea Marston . This was our first hotel stay with our puppy so I had a few questions prior to arrival which were timely answered by Steph who patiently addressed each enquiry in turn. Whilst there staff made us all feel welcome every step of our stay. We ate in Hathaways throughout. The food was great and the provision of dog bowls and reception treats was a bonus. We will no doubt be returning.

I have absolutely no complaints but if there were areas for improvement when accomodating a canine guest it would be... 1. To eat on the hardwood floor in Bar 76 as standard for breakfast. The reason being we went into the conservatory which was fine if we could leave the doors open to go to and from the breakfast bar, but around 9am staff had to lock the door to breakfast so non guests couldn't get access making it impossible for us to get through to breakfast without knocking and hoping for staff to hear us to let us in. Kindly the staff recognised our plight and we finished our breakfast in bar 76. 2. To be able to enjoy the spa facilities as a couple and allow the dog to be left unaccompanied for short periods as we had to relay the use of facilities which dampened our experience.

Some of the paintwork in the room was a little tired and the window was blown so we couldn't really see out but it was clean and the little Dyson Hot/Cold fan was great! The Reception/Lounge/Restaurant area was superb and has obviously been recently refurbished. Breakfast service was excellent as were all the staff we came in contact with from Reception to the Leisure Suite to the Restaurant.

The curtains didn't quite go right across the window (Room 41). The shower curtain was naff and stuck to you when you were showering and also let the water out so I had a puddle on the floor when I had finished. The dinner menu was expensive compared to the local eateries.

The flat is marvellous, with lots of space. Kitchen had everything that we needed. The host is very kind and communication with him was great.

The only thing worth mentioning is the shower curtain in the bathroom.
