The apartment is on different levels, feels roomy, and has a great mix of art work around. It is very comfortable, especially the bed. Best sleep in a while!! Kitchen is galley style and well equipped. It was good to have the coffee machine. Location is perfect for exploring Scarborough and the wider area. The parking space was part of the reason for choosing this property as car parks could work out expensive and not very close. Joe is a very good host as he responds quickly and we trusted that he would have provided immediate help if needed.

In just about every property it is easy to find minor things that could be better, but there was nothing that spoilt the stay.

Breakfast wasn't included, but that was no problem we knew that when we booked. We loved the place straight away. Our room was cleanse comfortable and beautifully decorated. Loads of drawers - even in the 'perfect' bathroom. Kitchen had everything one would possibly need. Our hosts, Sandro and Katia were simply wonderful. The food they serve deserves a five star! They made us so welcome. We would not hesitate on going there again. Thank you Kasia and Sandro - such a pleasure meeting you too!

I've been fortunate in that I've been able to travel a lot; in Europe, in Scotland, Wales and England. This is by far one of the best places I've ever stayed. Great hosts, super friendly. The place is wonderfully decorated, lovely breakfast and very central location in a beautiful town. And my room had an incredible view. It's a peaceful, quiet place which means you get a great nights sleep. If you're visiting this area, do not look any further, this is the BEST place to stay.

The location was great, as we were right near the beach. The room was a decent size with much room to move around. The breakfast was good, but not the greatest. Overall not bad for what you pay for.

I have a lot to say here, so will bullet point it all down; - Damp in the bathroom, with the ceiling flaking off when we were using it. - Bathroom was not cleaned properly, as we found used contacts in corners that were there from the previous people - Rooms are not soundproof; we had to endure babies crying, loud music, banging of doors and could hear actual conversations through the walls - Breakfast was ok; the fresh fruit was not freshly cut and smelt off so I couldn't eat it. You can only order 1 thing off their menu, and they only have bread or 2 x cereals out for everyone to have. - The hotel reception staff were ok; one lady was so hard to understand and spoke so fast when checking in. When asking her questions about parking, I got weird looks like I was asking something silly. - Parking - located a small walk away from the hotel, in some random car park. You can't rock up, you will need to ring to find out your bay number before parking too. We ended up parking on the curved part of the wall, which was not ideal and then ended up with a scratched car when checking out.

Five star standards. That is a proper top class hotel bed. I loved it. Lots of small things that made it very comforting and cozy. great communication by the owners

It could use a tea towel in the kitchen, the TV didn't work that well, and it was not clear if we could use the back yard - which needed a bit of attention.

The room was clean, light, airy and comfortable. All fixtures and fittings were of a high quality and we had everything we needed.

The only downsides were the paper thin walls which meant we could hear EVERYTHING from the neighbouring rooms, plus the lack of parking. The noise within the other rooms was a fairly big downside that would make us think hard about staying here again which is a shame, as everything else was perfect.
