  Everything about the palace was perfect from the friendly owners to the beautiful and spacious rooms. Me and my fiancé took a 2 night stay here and we were nothing but impressed. There is a book in the room with suggestions on where to eat and what to see which was a great help for us. Adam who we saw multiple times through our stay was friendly, kind and chatty. We will absolutely be returning to stay here, both me and my fiance have agreed it to be a new favourite for us. Thank you guys very much.

  The room was a good size after making the initial booking they contacted me to upgrade the room and size of he bed for an additional £ 30. The self service breakfast was good value. Pet friendly.

  The bar food was closed as they had a large wedding on. Book the restaurant. After being shown to the table and given the Menu and wine list. After nearly 15 minutes later I asked if we could get some drinks. What I know now was the Duty Manager (Chris Velencia) said I am laying up the table. Our computer system is down in a rude manner. We should have left there and then and gone outside for meal. Other people looked on at the way we spoken to. Tried to speak with the Manager and let a voice note with my mobile number. No surprise - No contact from them. A very disappointing attitude of the staff and not representative of Marriott.
