The location was amazing away from all the noise but still only a short walk to all amenities,the wrap around veranda was great for my 1 year old granddaughter.Everything was amaculate and absolutely everything you need was there.The best thing the Wi-Fi there was 35 of us spread around the campsite for my granddaughter 1Birthday and there signal was rubbish so a big bonus.This was my first time at Craig Tara been to so many other Haven Sites but not this one was very busy for us grandparents but the younger ones loved it.The host of the caravan well done in keeping your caravan so clean will definitely recommend you,thank you for a good weekend oh and the weather was amazing.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My sister and I were making a pilgrimage to visit our uncle’s gravesite. He perished during WWII. We needed a way to tour the whole area which is steeped in history. Kathleen arranged a taxi service to give us the perfect tour. We learned a lot from our taxi driver Lee. We were really well guided and taken care of. The actual room was very large and comfortable.

The food was locally sourced, good value for money and delicious. Service excellent. The bed was very comfortable and en suite shower, toilet and basin. The staff very helpful, friendly. The location was stunning. Local transport right outside the Inn. I will definitely stay again as I regularly visit a relative in a care home in nearby Gilmerton, 2 bus journeys away.

Floorboards in the room above Room 3 need sorting out. Kept awake by squeaking floorboards and people walking across them late at night and early in the morning.

The property is attached to a campsite. Close to a noisy main road. The on site bar and restaurant was closed in the evening so had to drive about 5 miles to nearest place serving food or drink. Nowhere walkable. I only stayed for one night to break a journey but for the price charged this was still not satisfactory. Unless you are completely self sufficient not a place to stay.
