Lovely, home-like room. Very comfortable bed which was properly made (unusual these days!) and good pillows. Breakfast beautifully arranged and delicious; treated as individuals.

Breakfast was good, plenty to chose from. The room was clean but tired in need of a new lick of paint ect. Plenty of snacks, tea, coffee, water in room daily.

No mattress protector on the bed, tv remote held together with black tape gave a feeling of neglect in general. Net curtains in room seen better days. Staff very helpful and if we had asked would maybe have been able to sort out a mattress protector? Only a 3night stay so didn't bother.

Breakfast does not get served till 8am so this was too late for us to enjoy the option. Most decent and civilised hotels serve breakfast from 7:30am.

We stayed in a room above the kitchens and the hotel thought it was okay to offer this room for me to book when they had contractors booked in from 11pm-3am doing maintenance on the extractor fan literally right beneath my head while I was trying to sleep. The noise was erratic, incredibly loud, and the workers were shouting loudly at each other all through the night. I complained three times to no avail, the contractors said they had been booked in advance to do this maintenance work and they were intent to continue. The fact tat this was pre-booked indicates it was not an emergency fix which I could at least understand if not condone. But this was pre-planned so the hotel should NEVER have allowed paying guests to be staying while such works were in place at ungodly hours. I should be refunded as I paid for a good night sleep and was prevented from having one by the hotel's actions.

Loved the space and having two bathrooms was a bonus. Hot water all the time was very good.

No view and no place to sit outside. TV channels where hard to get, couldn't the normal channels like BCC or ITV

Everything was terrible, The bespectacled and blonde girl at the reception was never fit for the hospitality area, she couldn't smile at all, the hostel charged everything, why is it 5 pounds to use the hair dryer, this is very cruel, also even the shower towel was rented with money. All these are just disgusting. There were not toilet paper in the room and shower area was disgusting.
