A wonderful hotel and a fabulous location, just a stroll away from restaurants, bars and the high street. We got a warm welcome, and the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Excellent facilities with a bar and restaurant on site. Breakfast had a great variety too. 10/10 many thanks

I loved everything about this B&B/pub. Location,gorgeous decor in room with quality fitments and products and cozy atmosphere in pub great to see a real fire too! Solo traveller but felt very comfortable and welcomed in bar area by friendly staff.

Some of the staff were rude Breakfast was disgraceful, waited over 25 mins to get served once sat down then another half an hour to get the food which was terrible quality, congealed and had been sat on plate for some time before being served. Also got locked out in the garden late at night, had to ring hotel to come let us in. No apology was the issue, I understand they may have a policy but we weren't told and the apology came after a load of excuses. The cost of the breakfast was refunded which was appreciated. Also felt a little ripped off when I realised the parking cost £20 a night to park in a very shabby car park. Maybe down to an unlucky experience and lack of reading fine print but will definitely try somewhere else next time.

Everything. The condition of the flat was run down. The bed was squeaky and uncomfortable. The heating didnt work, the electric heater in the living room didn't have legs, which makes it a fire hazard, no heating makes it really cold. It says Parking available, but it's 1st come 1st served (which youre only told after booking). Ended up getting a £100 parking fine. The toilet seat is broken and toilet doesnt flush properly. We were there for business, but the host contacted me in the middle of my day, while I was working to ask if she could enter the flat to get some sheets. I said no, she then asked to come later in the evening, asking for a neighbour to come get the sheets, then saying her partner would be there at 8.30pm. After a very long, exhausting day we just wanted to sleep. We found this extremely unprofessional. Shower leaked everywhere and very low if you're tall. Not enough towels provided. Overall just uncomfortable. With a little updating, cleaning and heating, it could be ideal as location was good, but parking a problem.
