Everything was just nice. Comfortable beds, clean bathroom (we had a private one), nice staff and possibility of meals during the day and an open bar in the evening. Good location for exploring the Loch Ness or even further areas (we went to Skye).

The driveway is in an unacceptable condition and we had to find alternative parking to avoid damage after a big struggle to get our car out for the first time, as it’s low and rear wheel drive. My car doesn’t like only having 2 wheels on the ground due to a severely rutted surface on a steep slope. The property smells damp and the ceiling is stained and damp above the bed. It also has pests living in it, which were a disturbance. The ceiling stains could potentially be urine from whatever has nested. The rugs in the bedroom are matted and dirty. The toilet is constantly blocked and slow moving. There was a total of just 3 tea cups, that were stained, so we had to constantly wash up and only 7 sheets of an old loo roll left on our arrival. No welcome pack or guest safety literature.

I paid extra for a window, but this turned out to be a filthy skylight. Plus the air con didn’t work, which meant opening the skylight window, which was met with the endless sound of birds squawking. There was no side table on the other side of the bed, just a massive empty space so partner couldn’t rest their belongings and phone next to their space in bed.
