Positive section of review
The rooms were modern, clean and very comfortable. Plenty of staff downstairs, all helpful. The property is one street back from the main road so quiet and peaceful. The bar area downstairs is a good size, not too big or crowded, and offers good beer. And if you like a curry, which I do, have one of their Indian dishes. They will make to your taste requirements. My lamb was sensational.

WiFi occasionally dropped momentarily but only on rare occasions so was not an issue.

Room for first part of stay was small but clean. Second part of trip I returned to this hotel and had booked a larger room which was ideal for packing. Breakfast was welcomed and was simple but fine. A pastry might have been a nice addition. Front desk staff were very helpful.

Size of first room was rather tight. But it would not stop me from booking here again. There was a small coffee/drink bar that was never opened which I understand was operated by someone other than the hotel. Signage indicating it was closed would have been helpful, though this is not the fault of the hotel really.
