Great location, 10 minutes walk to sea front. Large room, in guest house next door. Friendly welcome. Good continental breakfast, with choices and friendly lady helping out. Great value stay, perfect for a couple of nights to explore Cleethorpes

....about those earplugs. Our room was 1st floor above the pub. We could readily hear the live band underneath us when we went to bed exhausted on our first night (Saturday) but didn't think it would be an issue until we were jolted awake by a particularly rousing, audience-participatory rendering of American Pie Live and felt like we were on stage. Earplugs for the win. No noise complaints the rest of the stay.

The member of staff on the desk was really polite and super friendly, if hotels could clone this guy we'd all be happy on arrival!!

The room for the amount was small and truthfully didn't look very clean from the hallway, as soon as the for was opened we thanked the staff member for showing us the room but declined to stop with them.

I didn't like anything there, to be honest.

First of all, there were no breakfasts. Second, the room floors were always dirty, electric sockets weren't available for some beds, and the beds had uncomfortable pillows and stained and discolored duvets. There were unsafe lockers, and I was told to buy my own padlock to secure my locker. Upon my immediate entry into the property, I wanted to leave. The place hosts people who have made there their permanent homes and hence see short-term visitors as aliens. It is full of odors, and the toilets are dirty and uncomfortable. It's even more difficult to turn around in the bathrooms. Nothing there is impressive apart from the shock and surprise. Their WiFi didn't work for about half of my stay there, and they have the dirtiest kitchen and kitchen sinks. Don't be deceived by the pictures you see. Those are just hoaxes. And finally, there was this guy in my room who snored like the sound of a horse. This isn't the normal snore you have ever seen. I'm never coming back.
