After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

The bed was big and comfortable and large spacious room, everything was clean, the staff were friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, we left our cases in storage when we arrived earlier than check in, we also left our cases on our last day to do a spot of shopping before home, the location was brilliant, could not have asked for a better hotel would definitely stay again for the price we paid of £89 for one night this included complementary croissants and tea and coffee in the morning, the rooms also had double plug sockets either side of the bed, plenty of lights and a lovely tall mirror with a light around it, plenty of hanging space for clothes, had iron and ironing board and hairdryer, the shower was also lovely and big with shower gels and hand soaps etc, tea and coffee with chocolate biscuits and kettle, everything we needed for our stay, also lovely air conditioning in the room

The sea front location is ideal for heading in either direction along the coast. The hotel is in the process of being refurbished and what has been completed so far has been done very well (for example, the four-poster room looked amazing and the dining area is a welcoming, comfortable spot). Chatting to both owners you get a sense that this is a passion project and a labour of love for them and it would be good to revisit at a later date and see what further refurbishment progress has been made. Our room was adequate for a one-night stay and the freshly cooked to order breakfast was excellent.

There is no on-site parking due to the tight location on the sea front so it's a bit of a lottery trying to find a space to park in down the surrounding side streets without having to pay £10 to £12 for a 24-hour stay in a formal car park.

Large conservatory where evening meals could be ordered as well as breakfast. Lovely location at end of loch. Easy to go walking straight from accomodation and return respectfully to the accomodation (they have a no shoes inside policy). No TV in bedrooms (we spent the time deer watching from our room). Communal room with huge TV. Very considerate and caring owners.

Nothing not to like which the owners could control. Eg weather

The house was in great condition, lovely furnishings, warm and welcoming. It gives you a great feeling of the Highlands and allows you to relax and enjoy your time there

There's nothing of major concern about the place, it's understandable the effort needed in order to keep it in good condition, and it's really appreciated.
