Lovely feel to the property, clean, organised, well maintained, comfortable beds and despite the warm weather it was comfortable temperature wise in the room. Beautiful old property too. The staff were so lovely, everyone was so friendly, helpful and kind, they really couldn’t do enough to help us. The breakfast was delicious, scrambled eggs were just amazing. We would 100% be back for further visit.

The only small issue we had was there wasn’t a mattress in the travel cot- we used the spare duvet and wrapped a large white sheet round for extra cushioning so wasn’t too bad but was still a bit hard, little one still slept ok though.

Excellent location. Charming hotel a tad noisy from the street below, and we could hear and feel the movement of people in the hall, however the place is old and one should expect that these older houses are not built to today's expected noise elimination standards. Overall can recommend for a few nights stay in Oxford.

Location superb, 5 mins walk into centre of Dumfries. Lovely spacious rooms in a beautiful traditional building.in the heart of Dumfries. Impressive management of check in process with no long queues. Windows opened well in the room and it was very comfortable to sleep even during exceptionally hot weather.

I wish I had booked a longer stay!

Pretty much everything. Some reviews griped about smell of smoke - not in my room! Clean as a whistle, lovely en suite. Welcoming host, and perfect location for Inverness. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

That there was no portal to another dimension in my room, and that I slept without being abducted by three-headed aliens. Apart from that, really, it was spot on.

Location - near clean and safe carpark, friendly and helpful staff, 24 hour food, and dog friendly. Good wifi too. Big desk, which was helpful.Really affordable.

Could have been cleaner, and the air conditioning was patchy. Noisy street in terms of traffic noise but not the fault of the hotel and you could ask for room facing away.

Loved the layout both of the rooms and the actually property! Brilliant location right in the centre of the city so is close to all amenities!

After a 300-mile drive, I was hoping to be able to get a nice cold drink in the bar.. showing pictures of the bar and a pizza is slightly misleading as you are only open 10-4.
