It was very clean and sleek. The staff were extremely helpful, and I love the addition of the instant uber ordering computer. For someone who has never been in an uber because I live out in the sticks, it was a relief not to have to stress about it.

The breakfast catered for most tastes, but sadly the Full English did not include bacon. It was literally scrambled eggs, toast, sausages and beans. But all very tasty. I was surprised that at the price I paid, a toilet brush was not in the bathroom - like, are you worried I am going to steal it? Also, the double bed had a dip in it which was smack in the middle. I kept waking up all stiff because my body wasn't quite level. Maybe I am just getting old. Regardless, as someone who loves their sleep, I am sad to say not much was had that night.

Very close to the sea front (like a one minute walk). Host very welcoming. Cheap and cheerful and did a job for a couple of lads for a one night stay. Would stay again no problem.

Parking is difficult as it’s just on road parking but wouldn’t be fair to mark down based on the fact they can’t do anything about it. We ended up parking on a street about 7-8 minute walk away.

The apartment was a great place with sea views from two of the bedrooms and the living area. It was a perfect place to relax. I wish I could afford to rent it all year round

Don't want to be negative, but worth mentioning that the toilet is really "snug". I think someone with limited ability might struggle. Not sure if much could be done, though, given the nature of the building.

The location is great - very close to the Union Street and quite close to the railway station.

I didn't like more or less everything else (except the location). First, this is not a hotel as you would expect it. It is a facility with code access to the main door, which only works within the designated timeframe of your stay. The room keys are accessible via key boxes. No staff member is present at the facility; there is no reception. The building looks dated; there are stains on the carpet, one lightning bulb was not fitted well, and the room door had ample space underneath, so noises from outside weren't blocked at all. The overall impression is that the facility is in desperate need of an update. At first glance, the room looked clean. However, there was mould on the sealings in the shower and on the ceiling. If you have asthma or a similar condition, you should probably stay away. Speaking of the bathroom, the hot water in the shower did not exist. When I tried to make it run longer, hoping that would help, the water tap started making a high-pitched noise that did not end until I turned the tap off. Two of the three towels provided looked very old. The bed was bouncy and not firm enough for me to sleep well. The blanket was very thin and too short. The room was cold. I could go on describing the faults for ages. In summary, if you are looking for comfort and service during your stay in Aberdeen, stay elsewhere.
