Superb accommodation. Very clean and well-furnished. Secluded location with fantastic views from the lovely outdoor seating area over Beauly/Moray Firth and Kessock Bridge. Owners Jim & Sandra were lovely and gave us a warm welcome. They offered us the use of their garage for our motorcycle which was most appreciated. We loved the extra little touches- homemade shortbread, a supply of milk, bottled water and filter coffee. We cannot recommend Bonny Vista enough if you are visiting Inverness.

Nothing at all.

We had a late flight and check in but when we asked the staff about food nothing was a problem. They even reopened the kitchen and cooked us a beautiful meal. Staff were so personal and the hotel is full of character situated right in the heart of Olney.

The welcome we had and very helpful and polite staff, had time for everyone of their guest's, including us, even had time to have a bit of bantering fun with them, breakfast was enough and very nice, nothing too much trouble. Brilliant!!

Unfortunately we had noisy neighbours and some building work was going on next door so was disturbed early on both mornings, not the guest house fault, never spoilt our break and would definitely go back next time. Could've done with a mini fridge in room if could find somewhere for it

Room and location were perfect for what I needed and the owners were fantastic, had a great chat over a cuppa. Brilliant hosts.

The regular double room was basic and a bit tiny.

The location, quality of the food. Views were amazing

We were in Mcdonald room from which we could hear a persistent noise, like a pump or continuous washing machine. The restaurant staff were very disorganised, but they were really friendly.

Spacious, comfortable bed, close to station.
Negative section of review
Kitchen lacking in basics like egg cups, no jug, nothing to measure liquid and yet a garlic press!! No hand soap in bathroom, very little body wash. Incredibly cheap toilet paper and no bin!! In fact only one bin in whole flat, in kitchen. Strange that mostly modern furniture but very old bedroom furniture, wardrobe didn’t shut.

Lovely setting, room good value

Food was expensive for tiny portions. Order sides or you'll be hungry. Expensive for, nice food, but nothing amazing.

Location, ambiance..

Breakfast was excellent. Restaurant food was awful as was the room itself. Would not eat in the place again.

Very tired, dated hotel, no atmosphere, bed uncomfortable but bathroom modern and clean. Car parking all over Southport is a nightmare, High charges for a ghost town.
