The lodge was amazing. It had everything you need for the perfect country stay. we also had dinner at the restaurant where the food was amazing. deffo be back.

Excellent location, close to train stations. And bus services.Supermarkets close by. Nice cafes and restaurants close by.

We stayed 10 nights, very disappointed that no house keeping unless we paid extra. We were allowed one extra set of towels and hand towels at no extra cost, but no change of bed linen. This is not good enough for a long stay. Also it is stated that all toiletries are supplied there were none,except hand wash in bathroom. Netflix was appreciated, but there is no local tv service. All in all a good place to stay but I would not recommend for a long stay.

Poor communication via email and staff. Was not informed that the restaurant would be closed during our stay so had to find last minute reservations on a Saturday and was told breakfast started at 8am via email only to find that it didn’t start until 9am which unfortunately altered other plans we had booked that morning. Sadly the bed left us both very uncomfortable the next morning. No fault of the accommodation of course, the mattress wasn’t suited to either of us as very soft. Quite a lot of noise from outside but to be expected due to the location of the property. Sadly found old blood on a pillowcase which we did not discover until check out :(

The Hotel rooms are a bit tired and need upgrading. The windows were dirty, so our view was not clear.
