  The bathroom had a bad odour of ammonia, when we reported it they went to check and said it smelt like cleaning products! They said to check when we get back and they could move us to another room, when we returned we were not asked about it and it looked like she was off duty, The smell didn’t ease at all

  My room has soaked carpet - unfortunately took my shoes off 👀and due to the smell of urine / mustiness I did panic (saw a lot of stag do’s etc) the staff did relocate me, and I got a meal voucher but it wasn’t the best experience.

  My card didn't work, spent 1/2 hour talking to bank to transfer money, instead of hotel accepting cash, was supposed to have a 405 square ft room, the Oak room was half that size, food very expensive did not very good, did not have an option to book half board , decor quite dated and scruffy, expected better all round for money, I am starting to get dissatisfied a lot with these hotels and booking.com
