Staff are very friendly and helpful. They really went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Rooms are a bit cramped but for the price point it's very good quality: Air conditioned rooms, all the amenities, clean, and the high roofs makes the space not feel constricted. Great if you're just looking for a bed for the night.

Lovely decor and perfect location for our needs. Good size toilet and shower room - great power shower. Plenty of parking space in front of the building. Nice touch of special offer for treatment in the salon on the ground floor. Very close to bus-stop for buses into town centre if you don't feel like walking. Nice selection of teas.

We wanted a twin room because we were two female friends travelling together but, while there were twin beds, there was no space between them because of the size of the room so it may as well have been a double bed because whichever person was nearest the wall, they couldn't easily get out of bed if needed during the night, say. Also I didn't like that there were power extensions in a couple of places rather than additional wall sockets, which I do not think are necessarily 100% safe.

We loved our stay in oban. Perfect sized family room, we had everything we needed. Perfect location just back from the harbour Lovely welcoming hosts, and we were able to check in early as soon as we arrived, which was a bonus Also, we got parked right outside, which was brilliant . Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Lovely hotel with easy access to motorway and airport. There is some aircraft noise but we didn't find it intrusive at all. The staff were wonderful and the food in the restaurant was lovely and reasonably priced.

Found the bed a little uncomfortable mostly due to the industrial level mattress protector which felt more like a tarpaulin at times.

Evening meal excellent with very polite and attentive staff. Room interior was clean and spacious as one would expect.

Second floor room was facing busy road which was intrusive during waking hours but acceptable noise levels during the night. Our room was next to a linen store with numerous large trolleys parked in the corridor for large parts of the day and one trolley always located near our room. Not good for the general ambience.

The list is long I’m afraid! The communal spaces and apartment need renovation. It could be so nice with some serious investment from an owner who actually cares about delivery a great experience for their guests. Firstly, the place needs a thorough clean. The wooden floor in our apartment was disgusting! It was black and needs replacing or sanding and refinishing. The decor is tired, damaged and grubby in many places. One of the door handles fell off! The bathroom is simply not up to expected standards. You cannot stand under the shower as it doesn’t reach high enough so you have to remove the head and hold it. The silicone around the bath is mouldy. The sink does not drain probably so needs attention. The toilet doesn’t flush very well. However, the towels were very good. But the best of all is when you or adjacent apartments turn on a tap or the shower the system makes a loud and prolonged wailing noise that sounds like a cross between a calf crying and someone learning to play a didgeridoo! One of the bedrooms had a very unusual and unpleasant smell! Beds were ok and bedding was good apart from a sticky blob on one of the duvet covers! You are able to leave cases when waiting for the room to be ready and after checking out which is great. So, in summary it was not a pleasant stay and we would definitely not stay here again.
