What a warm welcome when we arrived and it didn’t stop there! The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Special mention to the bat staff ( great cocktails!) and the spa team for the delicious smoothies. The room was really comfortable and well equipped and the bed was dreamy Beautiful house, stunning views and the breakfast was great. We will be back! Oh and I think I left my Apple charger behind oops, have messaged the hotel to see if that’s the case! See you again soon team Danesfield And thank you x

Hospitable hostess, good shower, comfortable chairs in the room and it was nice to have a little fridge (with milk) and tea making facilities in the room. And it only took 10 minutes to walk to the town centre. The hostess provided us with practical information about restaurants in the neighbourhood.

I expected the possibility to use a sitting room (but that may have been my mistake) and the use of a garden. On the internet i saw a picknick table in a garden, but that was not there. (The weather was not so good, in fact. So we didn’t miss it very much). The name “ island view” is somewhat misleading….(I didn’t see an island). And since there was no breakfast offered, we could have done with some more facilities (a bigger table with an extra chair) to have breakfast in the room. The tap in the bathroom is very fashionable but not practical.

Loved the faded grandeur amazing old hotel with some original interiors although some of the painting could do with some direction

Not a thing that I didn’t like, just maybe a suggestion on how to make the stay more comfortable… maybe have some sanitary products in the rooms just incase any one needs them in an emergency. That could be a good idea
