The hotel was in the perfect location the free parking is also very handy. From the moment that you walk in the staff really make you feel welcome. The rooms are always clean and tidy and well equipped. There is a lot of choice when it comes to the breakfast which is great and all of the food is cooked to a high standard. The evening meal has a wide choice to choose from and again is always cooked to perfection from the moment you walk into the restaurant the staff great you with a smile and make you feel very comfortable.

Loved the cottage,the location was great just around the corner from all facilities,the pub john paul jones was lovely,great choice of food and drinks little pricey but not too bothered,lovely walk to the beautiful beach,

The inside of the property was spacious and for the most part very clean (only the rug in the living area was noted to be visibly dirty) Adequate towels/linen/kitchen utensils etc. The location was excellent.

Door missing on one of the bedrooms, only advised of this 5 mins prior to arrival. Outside the front of the property was an overflowing bin with large shards of glass protruding from the top. Multiple waste bags also littered the front of the property. The back garden was overgrown with weeds and very unkempt therefore unusable which included food products (multiple chicken bones) which can encourage vermin as noted by the local council notification at the property regarding rats. These issues have been advised to the property owner prior to this review which they stated they would look at (photos provided) however there has been no further explanation or communication following this as yet. Very expensive and expected the property grounds to be of a much higher standard.

Great pub with rooms and restaurant. Good location. Nice outside terrace. The bar welcomes locals and had a good atmosphere. The food was excellent at dinner, and the staff efficient and friendly. A good bed.

There were 3 difficult concrete steps down to our room area - with no handrail. The stairs were difficult for elderly people, again with no support. The worst thing was the walk in shower which had a slippery base, with no possibility of a non slip shower mat. The staff member said that they did not have them. For their own protection, as well as for guests, they should make a tiny investment of about £3 per shower to avoid big problems. Continental breakfast only on the BB rate.
