Staff friendly and welcoming. Lovely rooms. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Quiet. Tea and coffee facilities in the room Breakfast included and was excellent choice. Well cooked and tasty, especially veggie breakfast. Beetroot hash delicious. We also had an evening meal. Lovely food, and as a vegetarian, I found a great choice. Creme brulee was is fantastic. Would highly recommend both the food and hotel stay.

Great location with easy access to Park and Ride. Good sized room, comfortable beds and very quiet. Dinner was very good (we had the superfood salad with seared tuna), although glass of wine was expensive. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. We would definitely stay again.

Only a small point but would have liked the room to have a ceiling light. The lighting was a bit on the dark side.

Spacious and comfortable, beautifully decorated studio apartment, in an idyllic setting. Lovely breakfast supplies provided. Beautiful walk along the River at the end of the property through fields- so pretty!

Very luxurious rooms and a great location. Having the toilet separate from the shower and bath is very welcome. Very spacious and has everything you need.

There were some flakes of old croissant on the chair and some stains on the bedsheet, which was out of keeping with the rest of the room and hotel in general

Our check in was welcoming, good and friendly. The free upgrade was unexpected and welcome. Fresh towels etc every day without being asked.

Dinner was really disappointing. Everything was pre-prepared or reheated, and it was very far from the quality we would expect for the price we were charged. Chips were burned, fajitas dry, fruit crumble raw. We'd have had a better meal at Wetherspoons. It's a shame. We work in Hastings regularly and love this hotel - we've also had great meals in the hotel restaurant before, so it was very unexpected to have such an awful dinner. I don't think the chef we've met on previous occasions can possibly have been there that night. He clearly cared about the food he was presenting, and whoever was in charge that night clearly didn't. In fairness to the hotel, we didn't complain at the time. We should have, but we were grieving the death of a close friend and just didn't have the mental energy. We were sad anyway, and a good dinner wouldn't have changed that - but it really would have helped.
