Though the checkin is self-completed there were some staff in the shop area (during working hours) to assist with anything if needed. Otherwise the communication before checkin with door codes, etc. was very easy and convenient. The aparto itself was comfortable, clean and quiet. We would recommend this to anyone wanting a nice aparto style accommodation in Porto with nice restaurants close by (for dine-in or takeaway).”

  -I've stayed in another PubLove hostel before and have chosen it again. I like the idea of it being a pub and a hostel. Also I like the cuteness of their design, despite having limited space (as everywhere in hostels) I felt comfortable. -Location is very convenient. -The only female bartender made me great cappuccinos with oat milk twice, somehow two other barmen never did manage to make good coffee, I recommend her a lot!🙂 -I was able to leave my bag there for free which felt nice.

  -Bathrooms were not cleaned regularly. -A male was entering our only-females room twice with no warning without knocking, they should have explained at least what the are going to do.

  Beautiful spot nestled on the a littl stream. Lovely old building with stunning bar and resturant area. Located in the beautiful Village of prestbury.

  Unfortunately the smoke alarm was triggered in the ealry hours of the morning. This woke up all the guest. It is frustrating when people try smoke/vape in rooms.

  Where to start!? For starters, and the main issue, is that the photos used on every single website don't look anything like the actual place currently! This isn't a hotel anymore but instead a cheap hostel! Local area & streets are disgusting - tired & old looking student terrace houses, rubbish everywhere in the streets & not safe during the day or night. With regards the hostel & room - reception staff rude & unhelpful, WiFi didn't work, towels provided were ripped & stained, no kettle in room, small room & tiny bathroom, shower handle broken, light above sink broken, tbh I could go on...
