good basic accimmodation. room clean but had broken drawer fronts that came off in hand and would be nice if wallpaper was stuck back on. usually when you stay somewhere for bed and breakfast, your room is made up ready for night when you have used for oveenight....ours wasnt! nice evening meal in restsurant though

Lovely, perfect hosts who made us feel extremely welcome and looked after. Delicious breakfast, spotlessly clean room with every effort made to make our stay comfortable and special. The location was also excellent. A perfect place to stay and enjoy our holiday, an absolute gem.

The suite was absolutely fabulous. Spacious and beautifully decorated. Bathroom huge. I would recommend to my friends and family any day. Hope to stay there again in future. Isn't that the highest compliment I can pay?

We were on the 4th floor and there was no noise from outside or the hallways. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was great. Kids loved the pancakes.

The room was quite dull. A lamp shade didn’t work. The bathroom was very dark so was unable to get ready in the mirrors. The ceiling wasn’t done, felt like we had been put in a unfinished room.

The location and setting was lovely! Meal in the pub was tasty.

The pub itself needs a bit of TLC. 5 girls standing chatting behind the bar even though it wasn't that busy. Felt they could have been clearing the tables inside and out as lots of tables full of glasses, dirty plates and full ashtrays. Also had to mention to the bar staff that there was food and empty sauce sachets left all over the floor which was clearly visable to them. In the accommodation the first impression is good, however my daughters pillow had spots of mould on it and also the shower enclosure was pretty grubby - a good spray of Mould and Mildew on the titles wouldn't be a bad idea! We had guests staying in the room above us and you could hear every movement and creaking floorboard.

Only that I couldn't stay to enjoy the breakfast due to an early work schedule even though the Lodge offered to start breakfast even earlier for us.
