Room 8 in the roof has been newly painted with new carpets - very clean and fresh. Very comfy bed. Adjacent private shower and loo but there is also a basin in the room. Well equipped. Great continental breakfast with lots of choice. Very helpful staff who were very happy for us to park luggage with them after checkout until our bus was due. Great location. Room 8 has wonderful views across the estuary and the velux window opens out to create a sort of balcony. There is also a huge lounge for guests use, with patio doors to a first floor balcony with estuary views. Picnic benches in the front garden too. Lots of parking

Room 8 has sloping ceilings and we bumped our heads a few times. We did know about this beforehand though and it was not a surprise.

Nice venue. Loved the family atmosphere and all they do to promote family time. Nice breakfast. Helpful staff. Lovely facilities. Liked the calm, quiet area of where the hotel was situated. Shower was nice in the room. Room service was good. Water and milk facilities.

The room was quite clean. The toilet and sink were in the room. The shared kitchen and bathroom are clean and in good condition.

No hairdryer. There were a few spiders in the room, which is a little creepy if you are scared of spiders.

There was black mould in the shower cubical and signs of bacteria around the sides. Found plastic, hair and black cord or something that looks like thread in my breakfast. All these were brought to the attention of the staff. It would have been nice to have carpet or a rug of some kind on the bedroom floor.
