The property was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Gerry made us welcome and the breakfast was lovely, I am a vegetarian and I was very well looked after. We will definitely be back.

To be fair the room was last min and very cheap good size room very small TV and mattress was quite firm which we found uncomfortable but we have stayed here before different room and it was good , would use again but not that room hopefully for that reason .

We checked into the hotel and went into our room to find the carpets hadn't been hoovered, there was poo right up the toilet and there a blind missing on the window. We left not long after as we had some activities booked in Blackpool but kept questioning ourselves as to whether the hotel would be okay to sleep in. We came back at around 10pm due to our busy day, only to find a big pool of blood in the bed! With another dark patch that looked like mold. We went to reception to check out and ask for a refund, baring in mind it was now 10.30pm at night so we had to look for another hotel!! as we didn't feel comfortable sleeping here. They then passed our details onto the manager, David and said he would give us a call at 9am the next morning. However, no call received so we gave them a call ourselves and were told that they would call back shortly. No suprise, no call back, again! We then got in touch with booking.com to see if they could help with the issue. After 24 hours, booking.com also hadn't had any correspondence from the hotel, so 3 times we heard nothing back! The day after, we walked back into the hotel to ask for our refund, which Edward was happy to do there and then. Overall, we were very disappointed with our experience. Especially with the amount of hotels and B&B's in Blackpool, you would think they would do their best to keep the place spotless in order to bring customers in. We've stayed in numerous hotels in Blackpool and unfortunately, this one so far is at the bottom of our list.

Bedside light switches were invisible. One light didn’t work and wasn’t fixed despite promise. Safe didn’t work and wasn’t fixed. Phone had buttons for reception, restaurant and Emergency but none worked. Room was hot and window would not open, also not fixed. Dirty dishes neither cleaned nor replaced. £20 extra for ground floor room, to avoid stairs (no lift) and we are in mid-70s. Charge for parking despite there being lots and hotel being in countryside.
