The room was bright but basic. Bed comfortable. I enjoyed the choice of breakfast and it was quite adequate. The hotel is situated in a quiet area with secondary double glazing. you could only just hear the traffic on the main road. The staff were extremely polite. Lovely views to the rear of the property and plenty of parking. Meals in restaurant were good value.

It was a bit more basic than I thought but that didn't matter too much on this occasion. A little grubby around stairs to upstairs.

The guest house was very clean, the room we stayed in was lovely the decor was well thought out. The couple who own the house were very friendly, very welcoming. We felt Very comfortable and relaxed, really nice atmosphere. The breakfast was great too. Highly recommended

The property & surrounding was beautiful and scenic and very quiet. lounge & kitchen very comfortable and a feeling of open space . All the essentials required for eating in if it was your choice

Just a couple of little dislikes I found the bed to be very hard ( I understand it’s personal choice ). I also noticed a strange aroma that seemed to come from the far corner of the bedroom near the sofa/ bed when first entering. Single track narrow road to property which had overgrown hedges )which we were informed the farmer will cut after the birds have nested .

Would’ve been nice to have a few more self catering items in the kitchen area i.e toaster / microwave. The fridge and coffee machine were appreciated though.

Sofa was nightmare cushions kept falling off bed in main bedroom to low and couldn't shut blind in spare room as to high sofa had staines on

Water not provided in the room unless you upgrade. You are required to fetch your own purified water in a carafe from a water station in the lift lobby. Make sure you travel with nightwear! No basic amenities provided for £300 per night. The excuse is environmental considerations, but not the standards you expect for a 4* hotel costing this much.
