The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

We stayed in the hayloft, which is in a separate building with its own entrance. That suited us well as we were doing late night and early morning walks at Knepp. There is only one key so staff can't get in if you don't let them in. The room is very attractively furnished and very clean. The bed was OK if a bit hard for my wife. The shower was excellent. Car parked just outside our room. Not much noise from the room below. Pub very friendly with good menu and excellent chef. Not open before 12 noon.

There was a micro fridge with some milk and orange juice but it was not refilled during our stay. Breakfast was cornflakes or granola or a porridge pot which had dried skimmed milk in it. There was a couple of tea bags and a couple of Nescafe tubes and a kettle. We were left 2 croissants the first day but no butter or jam. We had to ask for more the next day. It was barely adequate and I wished I had known before as we could have brought our own.

Check in through the app was fairly straightforward and easy to access. Room was nice and spacious with a kitchen, plenty of utilities and WiFi worked. Good location.

Parking said it was included on booking.com, which was one of the reasons we picked it as it was a stop on the way home from Devon, however it did cost extra; this could have been clearer.

The bedroom was really beautiful and the bathroom exceeded expectations for a shared bathroom, when all the work is finished everything will be lovely

Pretty disgusted by the fact at 1am someone entered our room whilst we were asleep! How and why this person was able to do this is beyond me! I’m not trying to suggest this was anything more than a drunken accident on his part but it essentially the person gained access to via the keypad, presumably with our code. If he had done this whilst we were out we could have come back to thousands of dollars of clothes, shoes, passports and laptops missing.

The location was excellent, and the breakfast was superb. Phil and Adele where so welcoming, will definitely be back. Mr and Mrs McNally Wirral

The hotel was perfectly functional and comfortable, small room but everything we needed in a great location close to Manchester Piccadilly.

It was a bit of a squeeze but we were only staying one night so that was fine.

For the conference we were encouraged to pre-pay for our evening meals. I don't know how the organiser got the impression that the food might not be available if we didn't do that, and so I felt threatened that I might miss out on the companionship that the conference was primarily for. I tried to pre-pay, and hotel staff reassured me that I could pay on the day. When I saw the food, however, and the very limited choices for the charge of £22 was not at all value for money. I might have paid about £7-10 maximum, but bartering would have been unproductive so had to go elsewhere. I was initially allocated a room that was furthest from the reception area and furthest from that block's entrance H148. I asked for a room closer to reception and the request was granted LG44, and unfortunately left my coat in H148. Due to a medical condition I had to move again to another room LG47, whereupon I realised that the coat was missing. This was found in lost property at reception, when clearly I was the last occupant of H148 and so I should have been informed.
