The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

    - “This inn is a true recommendation. Great location, with large clean rooms with lots of comfort and other amenities such as available drinks, snacks, tea, coffee and much more. But the highlight is the hosts themselves. William and Jessica are perfect and warm hosts. They prepare an Asian breakfast in a class of its own. Very tasty and varied. You'll be happy to come back here. The high ratings are well deserved.”

It was idea for relax and refreshment. *Room was spacious, modern, spotless clean, very quiet and comfortable, with breathtaking ocean view. Bathroom was large with powered shower. *Breakfast was tasty with a lot of choices. Dinner was very delicious and good in quality. *Hotel staff were very nice and initiative especially the Nepalese staff of reception counter and restaurants. I was ill during my stay. However, it was lucky that two of the restaurant staff of Garden Area, initiatively gave their helping hand when I was in need. They were so caring and thoughtful. They even prepare suitable food for me to take in my room. Great thanks to the help of the two male staff, one Nepalese (senior restaurant staff) and one Bengali. * We have memorable stay here.”

Spotlessly clean. Double and single bed in room. Towels, shampoo and shower gel provided together with a small bar of chocolate each on arrival in room. Very welcoming staff who instantly dealt with a light bulb that had blown when told about it. Lots of storage space for clothes. Free access to Internet and Sky TV. Loads of free parking on site and there were plenty of outside bench tables to sit and enjoy the view across the valley. There was a bar in the main building with bar games available. Great location for access to Conwy (about 10 mins) with fantastic castle and town, Zip World Conwy (1/2 mile away), Snowdonia Railway (1/2 hour), Bodnant Gardens (10 mins). Very quiet village with 2 local pubs. We easily found 3 excellent restaurants nearby for our 3 night stay.

The photos on the website are accurate although the property was very tired and in need of updating both outside and in the chalet rooms. On arrival we thought "what have we come to?" as the outside looked quite dilapidated. On entry to the room there was a sign warning us to consider how much noise we make and how it could affect other occupants as the walls were thin. We could hear our neighbours turning on light switches and telephones ringing. We did not hear TV noise although most of the rooms were unoccupied initially. We were not disturbed by neighbours. On booking we were told there was no breakfast service as occupation rates were low but expected evening meals to be available if required especially as there we large advertising boards outside offering sunday lunches but, unfortunately, on arrival, we were told that no food was available and were directed to the local pub. Although we had a good stay this is not the type of accommodation we would normally stay in. The bathroom was very small with only bath and toilet and the sink unit was in an alcove off the bedroom. Hot water took a minute or two to come through the pipes but was boiling when it arrived. The chalets backed on to a wooded area, unfortunately this meant we had a few wood lice visiting the bathroom. I'm not sure how they got in but over the 3 days of our stay we had approximately 20 on the floor which had to be flushed down the loo. I also had an ant on the bed one day. The cost was £100 per night. In my opinion, a bit expensive for what we got although this seems to be the average price for the area. We will not stay again although we will come back to North Wales as there is so much to do here.

The breakfast was fantastic, if a trifle large for me so early, I cut down on our second day it was still big enough to seep me full until I get home. It was cooked nicely, no grease and the best looking fried I’d ever seen, I white layer over yolk - 5 star

So many bikers, left few car parking spaces, better to have a specified space for them NOT beside the restaurant window - such a noise. My poached egg on the poached haddock at breakfast was overdone.
