Positive section of review
Lovely comfortable stay while walking the South Downs way. Bus to Lewes very easy. Great location in Lewes. A few minutes walk away from a great choice of restaurants. Very friendly host welcomed us on arrival. Although accommodation is on the ground floor in the host's own house, our privacy was respected so that is no issue.

Bedroom was small, not much room for belongings but although small the room was well organised and we had the hallway to ourselves too which helped to be able to keep our rucksacks there.

The hotel location is excellent, I selected the hotel based on this as I had to travel by train one day. The room was very clean and comfortable, the staff were very kind and helpful. It is an interesting building to visit.

In my opinion the hotel is overpriced but still that might be the case most of the hotels in the city centre. What I find unsatisfactory was the breakfast, it lacked choices for healthy food, the coffee machine was broken for 2 days of our stay. The hotel can improve on the breakfast front. Overall the staff there were very friendly.

Hotel central and easy to walk around for sights So accommdating and nothing was a problem. We arrived on 6am flight and arrived at 9am and they allowed us in the room which was very kind and sooo appreciated.

Thoughtfully kitted out for a cozy stay: really comfortable. Great location next to the farm, surrounded by the soothing sound of nature. Easy walk to the village or to the coast.
