It was lovely, the spec of the home was amazing! The hosts were fast to respond to any queries we had. The views of the landscape were phenomenal and sunsets. The kitchen / living space was versatile and we used it all day with the bifold doors and the cinema room watching sport on was brilliant! We had one issue whilst we were at the property, a leak but the hosts were fast to assure us that someone was on it! We were a group of a 11 and the bathroom situation was never a problem having a loo on every floor is a brilliant idea! We couldn’t recommend it enough! And don’t forget the Brucey bonus of a hot tub

Parking isn’t the best outside the property, but Station Rd, a minutes walk from the property is accommodating and you can see your vehicle in places on that road from the back of the property.

Booked the day before and were satisfied with our choice. Leamington House is one of a dozen properties in a terrace built in 1878, so the building has been well used over nearly 150 years. However while it has not been extensively refurbished, it has been kept freshly painted, with clean newish carpets, everything worked, incl hot water, so without being luxurious , it was fine for what we wanted. The staff member who served breakfast was friendly, engaging and helpful . She gave us a good recommendation for a tea shop (Goodies) to use when we returned to Barmouth after our day out.

A comfortable and clean studio apartment with a kitchenette. 10 minute walk to the centre of York. Lovely view onto the river with the odd goose call. Free parking.

A good standard of apartment in a good area but could be improved with some easy improvements.

Narrow stairs needs handrail, bedroom needs a door, and apartment would not work well for four people. Shower water pressure disappears and would benefit from a non slip bath mat. No place or hooks for hanging clothes. Waste bins in rooms other than kitchen would be helpful.

Having to pay £6.50 for parking is ridiculous when the car park (which is a decent size) is for the hotel. It should be free for guests! Also, £18.50 for breakfast is very pricey.
