The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.
3
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

If all you need is the extra privacy of a self contained property, the flexibility to eat when you chose and a convenient parking space or reasonable access to railway station, this property will suit you - so long as you are not in Swindon for an event needing long robes and/or high heels. Initially pleased to find walk-in shower, but no knob on inside to close door and nowhere to put toiletries (or glasses) whilst using. Does have info folder, but micro font used was unreadable.

Access is via fire escape from rough lane at rear. Handrail stops 2 steps from bottom on one side, and is too close to pebbledashed wall on other. Light only comes on when you reach top platform, and goes off before you can fit key into lock! Nasty drop into main bedroom (photo 2). Door left wide open so warning sign only seen too late. Had to sleep in front (twin) room to avoid this. Beds are only 2'6" wide, and duvets very thin. Only one extra bedspread for twin room. No blind in front bathroom, which faces street - and light comes on every time someone passes its door. Handbook for toaster, but not for fancy TV, which seems to need account even for freeview channels. Although some areas look recently decorated, it suffers from poor finish - gaps in window seal create draughts in front bathroom (photo 4) & its door handle is stuck "open" with protruding screw that takes skin off knuckles, toilet roll holder fitted at wrong angle, drawer painted shut. Quicker to boil kettle than wait for hot water to run through (don't stand under shower until it does!) Photos make it look larger than it is. Despite advising when booking, and again week before stay that I was arriving by train, I was sent satnav details. Asked if they could let me have check-in details night before, as can't guarantee Internet once I leave home. Reply was "Look forward to meeting you". They didn't. Fortunately had allowed extra time to change stations in London, and station WiFi was working, as the satnav directions and code for keybox were sent FIVE HOURS after I left home.

Unfortunately, my overall experience at this property was disappointing and I couldn’t even stay, I found it very difficult to identify any positive aspects during my stay. I hope that the management will address the issues I encountered to improve the experience for future guests.

My experience with this property was extremely disappointing, and I felt it was too unsafe to stay. Upon arrival, I discovered several serious issues. There was no fire alarm in the kitchen, my daughter tripped over broken tiles, there were men smoking marijuana right outside the building with the main door left open, which compromised security and allowed anyone to enter freely. The hygiene standards were also unacceptable, with a waste pipe running through the main lobby, which is both unsanitary and unpleasant. Furthermore, the individual who provided us with the key took a photo of me and my daughter without my consent while I wasn't looking. This photo was then sent to me, which was very unsettling and to be frank very weird. Given these conditions, I felt it was too unsafe to stay at the property and immediately left. Unfortunately, my request for a full refund was denied, but I of course would have rather lost out on my money than stay there with my daughter. I hope that management will address these issues to ensure the safety and comfort of future guests.

Friendly staff, good location, nice illustrations and colour scheme.

Cobbled floor at the entrance makes it challenging to drag luggage on. Bedroom has no door, so you can hear all the activities in the bathroom and living room. Bathtub may also be inconvenient for a quick shower.

The hotel room we're poorly lite.No overhead lighting .There is no lighting except by bedside. The rooms windows do not open due to being high up on 24 to 25 floor.Very poor ventilation. The air conditioning is out dated and in our room didn't work we had to ask to be moved it was so hot we couldn't breathe. The service was quite poor as it took some time after reporting fault to be considered for moving rooms.Reception isn't very welcoming On check out, there was no one to talk too.
